I'm not sure why..although I'd like to believe it's because of me =3= haha. anyway, I hope I did not just jynx it and she really just comes back next week. HOWEVER! she has not been there for TWO weeks! I thought it was finally time to tell the world... I AM SAFE AGAIN!

ahh, it is the last night of my vegas adventure! =3= btw, thank you all for the birthday wishes! you guys are the best! :)

I wish I had a picture to accompany this post, but I haven't uploaded any from my trip yet. In fact, I'm supposed to be writing a chemistry report, but I'm procrastinating even more. ughh I've already written 4 pages, but I'm barely halfway through!!

also, I realized my driver's license expires today! which means I'm not allowed to drive until I get a new one. D: I didn't know that I had to make an appointment. I thought they would send me a new one, or at least send me a notice saying that I have to? Oh well, I've made an appointment for a written test on friday...which means I have to bum my way around until then. LOL!! sucks for my bf. haha. (sorry, evan ;n;)

on a happier note, I ate dinner at a japanese restaurant today! but it made me sad. :( it was soo expensive, but the portions were small. actually, mine was big, but other family members weren't so fortunate. my mom ordered a 24$ crab salad...and it was a portion that could seriously fit in my one hand. D: it came in a vase-like thing that had a living beta fish inside and on top of the vase was a small...cone-shaped bowl with the salad. D: and on top of the salad was a small, whole crab that was boiled. it was so cute, but so sad. nobody ate it. were we supposed to eat it?? I wish they would've just saved the crab for someone who would not waste its existence. I also wish they didn't have the beta fish in there. they didn't leave any air for it to breathe. luckily we care for its health and lifted the salad bowl occasionally to let it get air D:

but I had my first drink! it was a raspberry shizuku. it had shochu, raspberry juice and lemon juice..or something lol! it tasted strong, but then again I was expecting the shochu they have at anjin, which is more fruity than alcohol-y. oh well! it was still good and I still finished it without getting drunk or buzzed feeling. my mom said it wasn't very strong.

I also felt sad for this "game" that was featured outside a japanese restaurant. it was one of those crane games with the claw that lowers to get the stuffed animal. but instead it was 4$ and included catching live lobsters? it's so sad to see :( they're like, if you catch it, we'll cook it. it's like NOO. :( I really love sea creatures and it's sad to see them be tortured like this.

anyway, I should get back to my hwk so I can try to sleep early or something LOL!!

Tell me there is a time in everyone's life where they feel like they are being left behind.

I recently met someone at volunteering who goes to the same school, is just starting college, but already has more volunteer hours than me. Which makes sense, because he worked at a vet place, building up all those hours. But I feel so far behind. It's almost like there's no hope for me. Like he said, you either need 3k hours or really REALLY good grades. And I'm neither of those.

So, as expected, I call evan on my way home and tell him all of that. He says it's okay, but...he always says that. He wants me to believe it's okay, because I can always take a year off after I graduate to spend time building those hours. I know it's a possibility, but it's not really one that I wanted. At the same time, I watch others who do it in their first shot and worship them like a god.

I think my problem is that I see people do things, but I make too much out of it. My mom says they're just lucky. I always set these huge goals out there for myself and everyone around me, but I get extremely disappointed when things don't go as they 'should'. I complain to evan and finally gather the courage to tell my mom. I'm not sure if I have such high expectations because I really, really want to or if I'm just scared of looking like a failure in my parents' eyes. probably a little of both, but more so the latter.

my mom says it's all okay, which is a huge weight off my shoulder. she says nowadays it'll be hard to get a job but I just have to keep trying. sigh. it's just so hard. I don't take rejection well.

i'm not that open and bubbly person that I want to be. I want to be able to put myself out there without fear of rejection and judgements. I want to be strong. I want to be wise. I want to be all these things, but they'll never come to be if I don't try.

overall, I don't know what I want to be. who I want to be. all I know is I have to keep trying, because it's only too late if you give up.

so I'm sitting here, typing this up because my second class ended after ten minutes and I don't wanna study for my 5:00 test. :P and while working yesterday, I noticed a lot of things annoyed me. I can sum it up in one word: customers. they're so damn rude, I figured they deserve a journal rant. but instead of typing up a long post, I figured I'll organize it and do a countdown. :) THIS IS TO YOU, ASSHOLE.

So I had this strange dream last night. It was weird because it was like...two dreams in one. They kept going back and forth, you know, like those movies that try telling two stories but in the end they both suck?! YAH LIKE THAT! 8D LET'S DO THIS!!

omg it feels so good it just have a whole day to myself! *3* I've been working so much I felt like I would never be free from their...suffocating kimono chokehold!! but yah. I've been having a good past two days. both days I hung out with my bf and we did stuff! lol

the first day we went golfing at a driving range! I did okay for my first try I believe! :D we then went to his fundraiser for my german shepherd rescue. I just played it off like I didn't volunteer because if I said I did they'd be all up in my business and I don't like that. we then went to go play left4dead. :D except, like usual for computer games, we met those know-it-all people who are like OMGGGG WHAT ARE YOU DOINGGGG *name* and it irritates the hell out of me. it's like, okay I'm sorry? get a life plz it's a fucking game. but whatever. it always makes me feel bad after lol. that's why I like xbox version better. because they're all noobs and I get to shittalk them (but not through a mic or anything)

the second day we went to a bonfire! it was pretty fun! I had smores for the first time in yearsss D:! also..I noticed somebody ripped off all the stickers from my license plate. THE FUCK? I guess theirs expired so they took mine and stuck it on their car or something. gay. so now I have to pay 17$ for something that wasn't my fault. :P and I have to waste my time going to a dmv to reapply for those stickers and have to drive my car as little as possible to avoid getting a ticket for my stickerless car. D:< wtf is wrong with people?!

also, school tuition increases suck ass. thanks school for raising the cost by 336$ this month and 153$ last month. I hate you. if it were easy, I would srsly transfer. because at this point, I might as well pay a little more for a 'better' college. ugh.

anyway, today I will just relax again~ *3* hope everyone is doing well! :D

hey guys! I'm just here to post my thoughts on the latest movies that have been coming out this summer!! I've seen a lot more movies than I usually see EVER...so yah! LOL these will only be movies I remember off the top of my head starting with May! :D (I'm super bored, okay? leave me alone ;n;)

and this is totally off topic, but I might work tomorrow (thursday) which would mean I'd be working all 7 days this week. not to mention the 2 days in a row from last week and the 4 days in a row next week totally to around 12 days. POO!

Tuesday: WWCC (wetlands and wildlife care center) volunteering! *first day*!! I hope it's fun and that the other people I'm with are nice! :D

Wednesday: Work?? oh shit I have to pay my school fee thing. D: sometime...

Thursday: Rabbit Rescue volunteering. I guess that's not too bad. Oh I might hang out with Jenn. D:

Friday: Work. I thought there was something else...hmm

Saturday: HOPEFULLY just relaxing, but I also have work

Monday: SIX FLAGS MAYBE?!! we'll see! :)

this is the new bunny at the HB petco! he's an 8 month old cutie!! so small and furry! :) His name is Carmel and loves climbing on people. lol



Also, I beat the Suikoden V game. *3* totally my favorite after Suikoden II. Although I wish there was a little more of an ending to it. <3

that's pretty much the phrase I've been saying the whole time lately ^^^ (either that or holy shit LOL) YOU KNOW WHY? Because I'm SO EXCITED~~

I'm soo close to getting a 4.0 (my first ever? so I'm super excited). I'm just waiting on my last class, which I already have an A in? But I'm paranoid and I'm hoping I did better than a 76.2 on my math final, which will secure my A!

but yah. somehow I managed to pull off an A in chemistry, got an A in bio lab, an A in educational psychology (thank god) and an A in the bio lecture! JUST BARELY FOR THE BIO LECTURE. I had like...88-89% or something before the last grade was inputed. and it bumped me to an 89.56%!! Well I guess I shouldn't get TOO excited, cuz what if he doesn't bump me up!? D: OH GOD HE BETTER.

yah. so just waiting on math, which I finally took the test for this morning at 8! AND EVERYTHING SEEMED TO GO WRONG THIS MORNING. I forgot my grade printout I needed, didn't get the parking permit from my friend last night, had to pay for the metered parking on campus, had to waste ten cents to print out my paper and blah blah blah. I'm just so damn excited that it's SUMMER. although it might not feel like it if I get another job. :P I don't wanna! But I have to :(

here's the rundown. my chemistry professor doesn't teach us SHIT. I think he's an upper-division professor and this is the first time teaching a 100-level class...which is probably the reason why he only gives us the equation, one example using the equation and then expects us to understand the concept of the equation. oh I left out one thing...

HE GOES OFF TOPIC SO MUCH. AND WE'RE NOT PROFESSIONAL CHEMISTS. we DO need explanations. hence the reason we pay the school so fucking much to learn this shit!!

seriously, for the first month his "lectures" consisted of twenty minute explanations of how to log on to this one website to do our online homework. it's like, I'm sorry sir, we're the NEXT GENERATION. we know how to work this high technology machine called a COMPUTER. THANK YOU. have a nice fucking day. yah so after a lot of complaints, he finally started his lectures with ACTUAL chemistry material. dude. he took a whole lecture drawing the periodic table (minus the transition elements) on the board. SERIOUSLY? for what?! NOTHING. there was no real point to it!! OH btw, he did this TWICE. once one week and once the next week!!

the thing that really gets me is this last test. I got a 60/100. A SIXTY OUT OF ONE HUNDRED. after going over the answers, I realized some of them were SUPPOSED to be right. you know how I know?! BECAUSE THEY WERE THE EXACT QUESTIONS on the practice exam that he gave us! D:< AND HE GAVE US THE ANSWERS TOO! but on the REAL test, they were marked wrong!! WTF?! when my friend asked what the average was, he said it was 68. 68 MY ASS. I didn't see any tests in that pile that were higher than 70!! the highest grade in my lab section was a 67.5. THAT IS SAD.

our lab section marched to the head of the chemistry department. ANGRY MOB ACTIONS ENSUED. he wasn't there though, so we left a nice long essay and we all signed it and slipped it under his door. yah. it felt good.

my friend also called our professor's office today asking what he was going to do. APPARENTLY he made a xerox of EVERY student's scantron (because he passed back the original to us in class) so he's going to regrade every scantron. WTF?! there are like 200 students in that class and he xeroxed EVERY one?! I don't understand this teacher. but I seriously hope he doesn't fuck up my grade...

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I've been studying really hard this semester. proof = GOOD GRADES?! (minus my C+ on chemistry test...) other than that I've gotten all A's and one B-. D: I think that's relatively okay?? I think I deserve it kinda. I'm not trying to brag though. I mean I've been studying my butt off for four days for oneeee test. @w@ I also did chemistry for three hours tonight. :< even though I have a MATH test tomorrow. LOL. oh well???

hmm what else. while studying for my biology test, there was this pretty cool picture of a bird in the book.

OMGGG. I'm so hungry. ;n; but yah. I just finished my biology homework. I studied a total of four hours (two today and two yesterday) for a THREE MINUTE LONG QUIZ! well that's how long it took me to finish it. mostly because...*flashback??* Bioportal is the program we use for this whole online quiz shit. It pretty much has the book online with some nifty applications that help you study like animated tutorials, activities, premade flashcards!? yah. I was reading chapters 3 and 4 (which took around 1.5-2 hours each!! D:) and there is a practice test you can take as many times as you want. *cough* I did pretty bad on the first one since I SUCK ASS at macromolecules. nobody likes them anyway.

so yah..pretty much the questions on the practice tests are the questions on the actual test (which you can only take once). and I kept taking the quizzes over till I memorized the answers LOL. plus vanessa gave me her test results so I had the answers anyway but I wanted to do it on my own too? yep. so that's over and done with (although it'll be every freakin' sunday I have to do this by...)

I also finished my math homework at 3 in the morning today :D and woke up to a pancake breakfast~ omg we should make bidoof pancakes. :9

yahh. pretty much the only thing going on with me is school and work. since I added a class on tuesday, will takes me home cuz vanessa has to stay longer. and last tuesday we went to Dolphin Bay. It was pretty good!! although it's a boba house thing and I don't like boba. will was pretty amazed at how I drank all the tea and left all the boba...leaving noooo drink behind! >:3 and then he ate all my boba at once. he had chipmunk cheeks and took like three minutes to chew it all. o-o;; it was a long time haha. I also ordered this weird noodle thing. the broth texture was like that of egg yolks?! it was weirddd but still good. too bad I don't like cilantro though LOL

I also had this weird dream. I think it'd be too long to describe?? oh well :) I'll just put up this picture of the boba. :D

dude I was so bummed that I didn't get valentine's day off :/ but then everyone is like well it's JUST a day. and I'm like YAH but any other day just feels like a date whereas vday is like LOVEYLOVEY day?! I dunno. but we're celebrating ours this thursday. BEFORE EVERYONE ELSE. yah. so suck it.

sooo a lot of cool things have happened. I probably just forgot to upload anything. :P so uh. OH RIGHT. I went to guppys in irvine with crowmartini and ate a SHITload of shaved ice. :9 and then we took sticky picturesssss. <3 (I was gonna say something like 'I lost my sticky virginityyyy' but that wouldn't sound right. o-o;;)

anyway. yesterdayyy I went to kbbq with evan and his co-worker, Laverne (spelling anyone?), and her bf. they're really cool and kbbq was super good :9 then since evan and I BOTHHHH had the day off for once, we went to little tokyo in Los Angeles. but that also happened to be the day all the visual kei wannabes were planning to meet and have a 'photoshoot.' they were srsly going to drive for like two-three hours just to meet each other. dedication, man, dedication. however I suppose it was good they were meeting there because that was most likely the reason nicole went there and met ussss? lol

unfortunately we didn't see the group of them...but we did browse through stores and ate dango (more like we ate nicole's dango....) and then went to miyakawa and ate moreee!! evan had a manju thingggg and a mochi ice cream, I had two mochi ice creamss and nicole had a mochi ice cream and mango sorbetti or something LOL. :D YUMMY.



everything was going good until I got to the jungle store at the very end of our journey. I had a killer stomach ache from kbbq I'm guessing. I got a stomach ache last time...my immunity is wearing off. :( WHERE IS MY IRON STOMACH? so yah. evan and I went home, ate pizza and watched scrubs :) <3 (but I need MOAR scrubs)
